Deductibles went up to cover the cost of an extra 15 million that got covered
Could have just raised a tax to pay for the 15 million new members
That would have done less damage over the long run

On the supply side there have been major consolidation in health care that reduces services and drives up healthcare costs

Senator Tim Scott says police reform talks collapsed because Democrats supported "defunding the police"

Creating new states only takes The White House and simple majorities in Congress, and it takes The Senate and Supreme Court from republicans forever, maybe The House too as they can end gerrymandering.

    Easy and better path.

Republicans should have did that than when Reagan or Bush was in The WH.

I would argue its because of republicans and the current democrat president who did nothing about it.

  8. Obamacare’s setup isn’t ideal, because you have to have a good idea of what you’ll make and it can be hard to determine if you’ll qualify for the subsidies.
