Hence, they can see the market more objectively. You're just too damn emotional. :sneaky:

Well of COURSE! Why do you think prop traders in casinos don't care! They have no money of their own on the line! They are playing with house money! OY!

  5. Overnight is too American and patriotic and proud and traditional and basic-minded and a rule follower to be a successful trader.
The best traders in the world...tend to see things differently, approach things differently from another angle perspective,

Overnight reminds me of Robert Deniro in that Taxi Driver movie. That type of fellow doesn't make a successful trader.
Be HAL 9000, instead. And maybe you'll have a chance at true market riches. Or think like Yoda or Mr. Miyagi,

And you are too fake to post your real trades online, show statements, etc etc BS. Post a journal, or have a steaming hearty cup of STFU!

Because THAT is what it really comes down to, and I have been doing it for over 5 years with real live money on this website. Can you say the same, or will you just be another Jackmorgan. Put up or SHUT UP if you wish to attack me in this fashion.

Of course, they (eg. employees) care. Otherwise, they'll get fired. And they might even have to regurgitate portion of the loss they racked up for the firm.

What I'm saying is that, as a trading company, you don't want to hire a bunch of neurotics. You're better off with those who function under high stress and not go haywire every time they find themselves under water.

That would be a very very interesting story to see. How do prop traders in firms like casinos and trading houses perform with the house money, as compared to when they have limits.

At least @Overnight still has principles. You instead spoke like the one honoring your nickname, like a true HO.

I have actually worked in the financial services industry for decades. As front office and prop group trader. I made enough money to retire early by being absolutely honest and ethical to the dot, not a single white lie in 20 years. I am immensely proud that I did not sell out my principles and ethical values and still made it to a respectable title, level and remuneration. I say that because I saw a lot of fake cunts who fucked their way through MD, broker, and client beds to get ahead, and unethical creeps who played the alpha male game and cheated wives, clients, regulators and their own firms just to earn that extra additional dime.

Have you worked in this industry ever? If not STFU and don't ridicule others about their upholding ethical values. It's very easy to make money by being dishonest, it's an entirely different ballgame to do the same by being honest and upright.

Is Jackmorgan a generic term for fake trader?
