I'm a fan of President Reagan. His continuing/escalating Nixon's war on drugs, however, was a major league blunder. Christie's right about this, but he's also allowed NJ to drum up so many other anti freedom laws, I wouldn't vote for him if my life depended on it.

  3. It failed for the very same reason the war in Viet Nam failed, and every other god damn mission they set out on. Body count. All they have done is arrest a bunch of nickel bag street corner hustlers over the years while doing a dog and pony show for the dumbass masses who are made to believe they're being kept "safe". The only thing these no good fucks know how to do is inflate numbers to make people think they're actually doing something, when in fact they have no intention of ever accomplishing anything of substance. It's just one more thing for the campaign trail. One more thing to generate revenue that they can then steal and/or allocate for other pet projects. Just one more reason, on a very long list of reasons not to trust this criminally corrupt government.

  4. Christie is the best hope the reps have of winning back the WH.

Don't think so! We want OUR Freedom back, and Christie isn't anywhere near that. Yes, I know you nazis (you're NOT a liberal), want to see freedom-loving people enslaved, but it WON'T happen. Not even by a long shot!

Some of these so-called wars should not be expected to be either "won" or "lost", and judged successes or failures. They are more like immune responses, the battle is constant, the pathogens never entirely absent, but if the battle isn't fought at all the body may die.

  7. He's obviously right on this.

Too bad some actual conservatives like Cruz don't take this view.

It's hard to see the republicans doing much when a substantial number of their leaders seem to want to start a war every week or so and are obsessed by pot and abortion.

And who can get excited about Boehner, Cantor and Ryan as party leaders?

And of course, the establishment now is solidly behind amnesty advocate jeb Bush for president. Would we really go back to the Bush well after getting poisoned there twice? How dumb are voters?

Do you really need to ask? Look at the current political landscape.

Regarding the establishment. They didn't back Jolley because he wouldn't kiss Boehner's ring, thus he was outspent 4 - 1, and he still won, even with a third candidate running. Jolly was an unknown. It's not just the dems who need to sweat. I think voters may be a little less dumb this fall...let's hope so.

    The left.

Dumb enough to vote for Obama - twice.
