Ya put Paul Ryan on tv, he's the one who wants to eliminate Social Security and Medicare. I remember this joker from last year. Bailout the banking system, start bogus wars but eliminate SS and Medicare. Priceless corporate socialism.
LOL +1 to putting that agenda on tv. BUT, not as a conservative agenda. Put it on as a libertarian agenda.
People in the top tax bracket, "these so-called wealthy, most of them are small-business owners." is a talking point. http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-m...led-wealthy-are-actually-small-business-owne/
The fact that it's a talking point doesn't mean it's untrue. Here's an even better talking point. These people you call the "wealthiest americans" could also be called "those Americans who pay income taxes."
I've been a big fan of Ryan for awhile. Guy has his shit together. http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=175927&highlight=ryan
$250,000 is not rich, but anybody making over $80,000 is considered rich in the eyes of a liberal. If ya gonna soak the rich at least soak the 3-4 million a year folks or better yet a flat tax.
"According to a 2004 study by the Pew Research Center, liberals were the most educated ideological demographic and were tied with the conservative sub-group, the "Enterprisers", for the most affluent group. Of those who identified as liberal, 49% were college graduates and 41% had household incomes exceeding $75,000, compared to 27% and 28% as the national average, respectively"
As a long-term resident of the Wisconsin 1st Congressional District, I can tell you that Cong Paul Ryan is the smartest person on Capitol Hill. But, he's adamantly against running for the Presidency. It would be easy for him since, contrary to our current situation, he tells the truth always. That sure simplifies things, but some people never learn that lesson. Love you Paul!
