    They should just use the same rules as that are in place for the S&P 500.
    7% 15 min halt
    20% stop for day

    Well now there is no circut breaker in China. If things get ugly tomorrow there is no stopping it.

    At the speed it hit 7% was brutal.

    I think we also have to consider that its reported that 80% of the buying is by retail traders. I haven't studied the charts at all, but in other markets we have institutional buying that often comes in and majorly reverses down moves. Perhaps its even the Plunge Protection Team as its often called. Without major institution money, and with a much larger percentage of buyers being amateurs, how is it going to go up? Who will the large buyers be?

  8. i expect -10% on the shanghai index at some point tonight, unless the chinese government starts buying shares

    everybody that wanted out the last 2 days but couldn't because of how quick the circuit breakers stopped everything will finally get their chance tonight
