I'm worried about the 10% of cases that suffer complications. The CARPHA website says Barbados and Grenada are roughly similarly affected but I read an account by a journalist that 60% of Grenadans had,had it and the chronic sufferers were in a bad way.I was thinking about a trip to Barbados, anyone from there who can comment?
Check CDC and WHO. No treatment for chikungunya IIRC. If you're that worried, go somewhere colder and higher elevation. Tropical climate w/ dense population in a developing country = recipe for illness.
