Charting Treasury Yileds in Esignal??

Discussion in 'Technical Analysis' started by chiproptrader, Jan 24, 2006.

  1. Anyone know how to chart the Treasury Yields in Esignal?

    5, 10, 30 yr yields

Or where I can find a live feed.

    Thanks in advance.

  2. $FVX = Five year yield
    $TNX = Ten year yield

    30 year = Unknown

  3. I recently re-loaded esignal onto my system.

The grid on my intraday charts are at 3 hour increments.

I would like to set them back to 1 hour increments.

Does anyone know how to set this up?

Or, if your chart grid at hourly increments could you tell me the font and the font size that you are using on your charts?

Esignal tech support doesn't have a clue.

  4. join the club

support is not great over there

  5. did you try right clicking on the chart and and playing with the time templates

  6. You're describing a feature on the advanced charting package.

I'm a firm believer in the k.i.s.s. trading formula and simply use the standard features on esignal.

I've never had the need to use advance charting so I do not subscribe to it.

However, I find with every esignal software upgrade more and more of the standard features are being eliminated so eventually I guess I will be forced to migrate to advanced charting.

Ahhh,I think I'll just migrate over to DTN.IQ instead.

  7. $TYX = 30 Year Yield

  10. News and futures come off bloomberg. Quite frankly I could care less about the news since you can see it in the tape before it hits the wire. By the time it hits the wire services its not the cause of the move but the excuse for the move.
