    CBOE Bitcoin USD Futures
    http://cfe.cboe.com/cfe-products/xbt-cboe-bitcoin-futures/contract-specifications

    * Listing date subject to regulatory review
    * Cash-settled
    * Contract size = 1 Bitcoin (approximately $8,200)
    * Minimum price interval = $10

    ********************************************************************************

    Comparison to CME Bitcoin futures:
    http://www.cmegroup.com/trading/bitcoin-futures.html

    * Cash-settled
    * Contract size = 5 Bitcoin, or approximately (5 * $8,200) $41,000

    * Minimum Price Fluctuation
    Outright: $5.00 per bitcoin = ($5.00 * 5 Bitcoin) $25.00 per contract

    Elitetrader thread about CME Bitcoin futures:

    If they manage to set it up (i have my doubts...will they receive regulatory approval?), i don't think it will be introduced till next year.

    Duffy at the CME said by the 2nd week of December. The CBOE product would follow immediately after.

    Dude, if you can't figure this out for yourself, don't trade BTC Futures. This thing is like a future on a pennystock. Contract size is huge and implied volatility is around 100% p.a.

    I tell you, this is not the ES. Most likely they will have mutliple intraday halts cause BTC hits the circuit breaker every hour. And what are you going to do when you're long, BTC cracks support and falls 15%?

    Right, you'll declare bankruptcy, cause CME is limit down and you cannot sell.

    So if you have to ask basic questions on an internet forum, just watch it trade for a month or two. Don't be an idiot!

    The good thing is: you most likely won't be able to trade it on IB and if they really offer it, the margin will be like 50-80%

  9. I don't mind the high margin. I'd rather put my money in IB and trust IB/CME to be accountable to my money rather than some sketchy btc broker that could be hacked any day or go under.

    CME looks better since the spread is tighter...
