Market could open higher and sell off. Either way, be careful, even a push to new highs mid morning and a sell off. Keep the radar on. Fund managers could be looking for strength in order to dump shares based on uncertainty.. Although there is always a chance of a sell off so my post comes off as rather silly i suppose. Futures are getting stronger but still, remain vigilant.
Interesting. We are certainly in an uncommon situation. The market has been shrugging off a crescendo of bad news since the lows 4 1/2 years ago. A rally of this size and velocity has not been seen since the second world war. Is it really different this time? We are now in the autumn Sept/Oct period, the traditional 'crash' season. I am sure every bear is thinking, goddammit, if it doesn't happen now, then when? We've had some tough lessons on the market not caring what you think, want or need.
This seemed like an easy call, thats why i posted it. I faded the early strength with a few shorts then i called it quits. I have'nt done this full time in years so the fact that i no longer rely on trading makes my decisions mor rational.
Welcome to the house of charades run by the insane. The past 5 year run up has been large banks using the free borrowing window buying equities hoping the fool on main street gets greedy and jumps in at these new highs.
