Good thread, let's apply some examples. SPX daily chart 1 month:

Oct 23-24th Harami (signaling the end of the trend): Next day 20 pts drop.

Oct 25-26th Harami with Hammer (signaling the end of the pullback): next day huge 20 pts rally

Last 3 days: consolidation, ready to break upward (we shall see)
