Bus Crash Survivors Head Right Back To Casino

    Bernardo Garcia, a 50-year-old cook from Brooklyn -- whose buddy Miguel Aquino was one of 14 people killed in Saturday's horrific 5:30 a.m. World Wide Tours bus crackup on the Hutchinson River Parkway -- told The Post he figured Lady Luck was on his side. Heads back to casino on same bus line.

    And Theodore Radulescu, a 55-year-old cook from The Bronx, rushed straight from St. Barnabas Hospital still dressed in his medical gown and bloody socks to the Lower East Side's Bowery Mission, where he picked up new clothes before boarding another World Wide Tours bus back to Connecticut's Mohegan Sun casino.

    I'm thinking maybe the insurance company got them to sign a waver for some cash that is now burning a hole in their pocket. But, still.
     
  4. I was going to say, thats a really bad strategy if you're looking to sue for any kind of pain or emotional anguish.

    I think this is yet another example of why welfare does not work. We're just wired the wrong way in this country. I just don't get it.

  7. You will find if you talk to other people from other cultures, that Americans are nihilistic. Survival is no longer an issue. Materialism is our God. We are disconnected as a general rule. We think tweets and texts are a substitute for a real relationship.
