Just heard that Broad Street Trading has shut down. Good news is that is was their own decision and they are returning all funds to traders. I have a friend who trades there and passed on the information.
There is talk about Broad Street Securities Group dropping their CBSX registration and forming into a hedge fund. The word on the street is that this has not yet been decided and business is running as usual.
good thing they still have broad street international to solicit us traders no one will miss them , they were never competitive anyway
I also heard reorganization was possible but nothing concrete right now. That is totally different than shutting down and returning funds. Got to love the ET rumor mill.
Yea, right...a hedge fund. Never going to happen. Rumor is they are closing because the cbsx BD is too expensive too and complicated to run. You think a hedge fund is better??? Ask the guys at T3 how that worked out for them!!
