Books on trading

  1. Hi,

I am a young trader. I want to learn the art of trading. Can someone guide me to read certain books to understand what day trading is about?

  2. Well first of all....there's the "Books" section at the top of your screen. In theory, that section may contain books you want to read. There may even be books about trading.

Second, under the "Resources" forum..it has this little description:

"Talk about the resources available to traders such as books, videos, seminars, web sites, chat rooms, advisory services, etc."

Hmmm....this may have what you're looking for also. :p

Finally, you could do what someone else has already probably posted before I can even get this message done:

    USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION!

*sigh* I think reading should be a requirement for being able to connect to teh intarnets.

  3. USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION!!!
    *Sorry, a little late*

  4. Anyone tried downloading any of the books? I am worried that I might get a virus or something.

  5. My list of recommended trading books with comments.

  6. Looks OK for me. Extracted two of them and are fine. I checked the exe file for viruses though, before launching.

  7. Hmmm....the links off of the site seem to be dead. dnslookup for www.loombo.com show no host.

  8. do you guys recommend any of the links for beginners out of the list at http://tradingbooks.atspace.com/ ?

cause i tried reading the day trading course
and i was seriously clueless to alot of the things they were talking about

  9. Let's hope you do... cheap bastards.

  10. Maybe spelling should be one too.

  11. Don't waste your time reading all the garbage. Work hard, go to school get into ivy league. Then go get a job at a bank and make trading connections. Maybe you will get lucky and be able to work at a hedge fund with a real trader.
