Blacks and Latinos were "particularly hard-hit by the housing debacle"... MOSTLY BECAUSE THEY WERE GIVEN LOANS (POLITICALLY MOTIVATED, OF COURSE) FOR WHICH THEY NEVER WOULD HAVE FINANCIALLY QUALIFIED FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE! DUH!! Is there no longer ANY truth in journalism?? (One of my fav RE stories... some gal in California bought a house for $150K... re-fi'd it several times to extract $750K in equity... then when the market went south, defaulted on the loan and walked. Amerika... what a country!)
It's all a big scam, anyway. Land is plentiful, yet released to building through zoning only gradually, so as to prop up the value of existing homes. It's also a great way for money renters to get their bread, by making 20-30 year loans to what are for the most part captives (we all have to live somewhere).
"THEY got me good" said one home owner. "What THEY did was wrong" said another home owner who has owned his home for 40 years but thanks to numerous refi's still owes money on it. As I've said many times here, personal responsibility is as rare as a unicorn in the black community. Blame someone and riot when things don't go your way. It's the black handbook.
Shanequa say she voted for Obama five time, and she gonna' stand on dat telephone boof wif her pants off till her man Obama gives up her stimulus check and start making her mortgage payments like he say he would!
