Billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein was arrested for allegedly sex trafficking dozens of minors in New York and Florida between 2002 and 2005, and will appear in court in New York on Monday, according to three law enforcement sources. Saturday's arrest by the FBI-NYPD Crimes Against Children Task Force comes about 12 years after the 66-year-old financier essentially got a slap on the wrist for allegedly molesting dozens of underage girls in Florida.

For more than a decade, Epstein’s alleged abuse of minors has been the subject of lawsuits brought by victims, investigations by local and federal authorities, and exposés in the press. But despite the attention cast on his alleged sex crimes, the hedge-funder has managed to avoid any meaningful jail time, let alone federal charges.

The new indictment—which, according to two sources, will be unsealed Monday in Manhattan federal court—will reportedly allege that Epstein sexually exploited dozens of underage girls in a now-familiar scheme: paying them cash for "massages" and then molesting or sexually abusing them in his Upper East Side mansion or his palatial residence in Palm Beach. Epstein will be charged with one count of sex trafficking of minors and one count of conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking of minors—which could put him away for a maximum of 45 years. The case is being handled by the Public Corruption Unit of the Southern District of New York, with assistance from the district's human-trafficking officials and the FBI.

Several of the billionaire's employees and associates allegedly recruited the girls for Epstein's abuse, and some victims eventually became recruiters themselves, according to law enforcement. The girls were as young as 14, and Epstein knew they were underage, according to details of the arrest and indictment shared by two officials.

Epstein's attorney Martin Weinberg declined to comment when reached by The Daily Beast on Saturday night. The SDNY also declined to comment.

“It’s been a long time coming—it’s been too long coming,” said attorney David Boies, who represents Epstein accusers Virginia Roberts Giuffre and Sarah Ransome. “It is an important step towards getting justice for the many victims of Mr. Epstein’s sex trafficking enterprise.

“We hope that prosecutors will not stop with Mr. Epstein because there were many other people who participated with him and made the sex trafficking possible," he told The Daily Beast.

In an era where #MeToo has toppled powerful men, Epstein’s name was largely absent from the national conversation, until the Miami Herald published a three-part series on how his wealth, power and influence shielded him from federal prosecution. For years, The Daily Beast has reported on Epstein’s alleged abuse, and his easy jail sentence and soft treatment by the U.S. Attorney’s Office, which ultimately scrapped a 53-page indictment against Epstein. An earlier version of Epstein’s plea deal included a 10-year federal sentence—before his star-studded lawyers threatened to go to trial in a case prosecutors feared was unwinnable, in part because Epstein’s team dredged up dirt on the victims, including social media posts indicating drug use.

Meanwhile, the financier flitted among his homes in Palm Beach, New York City, and the Virgin Islands, as well as his secluded Zorro Ranch in Stanley, New Mexico, transporting young women on his private jet to facilitate the sexual abuse that’s gone unchecked by authorities, his alleged victims say.

In an announcement planned for Monday the FBI is expected to provide a number for other victims to contact the SDNY.

The British socialite accused of recruiting Jeffrey Epstein’s “teen sex slave” was ordered to hand over any correspondence between her and the billionaire pedophile over the past 17 years, a Manhattan judge ruled Thursday.

Alleged madam Ghislaine Maxwell will also have to produce any documents between 1999 and 2016 that mention the sex-trafficking ring she and Epstein allegedly operated.

Victim Virginia Roberts – who now goes by her married name Giuffre – sued Maxwell in Manhattan federal court for defamation.

Maxwell had denied Roberts’ claims that the older woman introduced the then-15-year-old to Epstein for sex in 1999.

Roberts, who is now 32, also claimed Maxwell pimped her out to Epstein’s wealthy pals, including Prince Andrew.

Maxwell’s lawyers argued in court Thursday that Roberts’ requests for documents was “overly broad” and called it a “fishing expedition.”

“What the heck does a communication with the Duke in 2013, any old communication, have to do with anything in this case? Nothing,” said attorney Jeffrey Pagliuca.

But Roberts’ lawyer Sigrid McCawley said the sweeping amount of evidence is critical to her lawsuit.

“The underlying issue in this case is whether or not Ms. Maxwell lied when she said my client was not subject to the abuse that she said she was subject to,” she said.

“So in order to prove that, for defamation with malice, we have to prove that my client was abused by these individuals, that these individuals did take advantage of her in the way that she expressed.”

Maxwell’s lawyers said they sought to obtain a copy of Roberts’ handwritten notes about the alleged sex abuse that were published on website Radar Online – but were told that the documents were “proprietary” and copyright-protected.

Roberts escaped from the sex ring in 2002 after fleeing to Australia when Epstein and Maxwell allegedly sent her to Thailand to study massage.

Maxwell is set to be deposed next Friday – but that could be postponed pending objections by her attorneys.

She is the daughter of the late British media mogul Robert Maxwell, who went overboard from his yacht in 1991 amid a massive financial scandal.

Epstein, 63, pleaded guilty in 2006 to soliciting an underage prostitute and served 13 months of an 18-month prison sentence.

The Post reported last week that Epstein continues to entertain a bevvy of beautiful women at his East 71st Street mansion – and that all of them appeared to be at least 17, the age of consent in New York, according to a source.

“When the Russian girls arrive in the city, they already have Jeffrey’s phone number,” the source said

  4. Flight records show that Bubba went to Epstein's Pedophile Island 26 times.

I wonder how many times Hillary went with him.

    Just sayin.

And yes, Trump knew/knows him and people have angles they want to work there. Good. Go for it.

Dershowtiz as well. Personally, though, I dont think Dershowitz would be one of the ones petitioning the court for the release of all records if he had anything to hide, but I am not his defense lawyer.

Speaking of lawyers, I see that the victims have David Bois as their attorney. He is at the top of the legal food chain. I think he represented Al Gore before the Supreme Court in the Hanging Chad election.

In 1994, Trump went to a party with Jeffrey Epstein, a billionaire who was a notorious registered sex offender, and raped a 13-year-old girl that night in what was a "savage sexual attack," according to a lawsuit filed in June 2016 by "Jane Doe." The account was corroborated by a witness in the suit, who claimed to have watched as the child performed various sexual acts on Trump and Epstein even after the two were advised she was a minor.

"Immediately following this rape Defendant Trump threatened me that, were I ever to reveal any of the details of Defendant Trump's sexual and physical abuse of me, my family and I would be physically harmed if not killed," Jane Doe wrote in the lawsuit, filed in New York.

The lawsuit was dropped in November 2016, just four days before the election, with Jane Doe's attorneys citing "numerous threats" against her.

Acosta, who let Epstein off the hook w/the BS settlement that has now been struck down, is Trump's new Labor Secretary.

Human Trafficking Victims Blocked from Visas by Trump Wage Boss

    • Trump’s new Labor Department wage-hour chief hits pause on approving U and T visas
    • Frozen visa applications intended for workplace crime, trafficking victims
Cheryl Stanton, who assumed office April 29 as head of the Labor Department’s Wage and Hour Division, in early May suspended her agency’s role in certifying visas that grant temporary status to immigrants who were illegally trafficked to the U.S. or face other forms of severe mental and physical abuse. Delays in processing the visas protecting people who aid law enforcement could step on White House efforts to combat trafficking, but may also be seen as advancing the administration’s emphasis on curbing the flow of undocumented immigrants.

Sometimes, traffic victims are incentivized to cooperate w/law enforcement in exchange for a "victim" visa. If some of Epstein's foreign victims were seeking refuge in the US for instance, they could be granted a visa in exchange for testimony. If someone high up did not want said victims to render testimony, it'd behoove them to pull the incentive.

  10. I've begun to completely discount stories that come up at opportunistic times. Such as elections and appointments to the supreme court.

    Let's review the playbook:

    - Find someone from before social media
    - Have them anonymously accuse person under consideration
    - Withdraw accusation before it goes to trial

I can file a lawsuit and pull it without any repercussions. Here is how:

    https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/4357335/doe-v-trump/

You file the lawsuit and do not provide proof of service. Without providing proof of service, your suit cannot go forward. You owe no costs, and you can pull it after it has circulated the news.

What _did_ go through? The porn star. Who won? President Trump.

Here, I would say that this is about eliminating all the incentives. First, there is an incentive to GET trafficked if at the end of it you can get a welfare life in the US. Given the vast exposure to illegal sex trafficking on the news, every single person sending their daughters to the US illegally knows they will be used for sex, and the daughters are also told beforehand.

    No victim, no visa needed.
