Best live trader chat?

Discussion in 'Risk Management' started by Shorter000, Nov 11, 2008.

  1. I am in the process of building a website for a proprietary trading company and wanted to get feedback on what traders prefer to use to communicate during the trading hours via chat messaging. I am looking to build a custom live chat or integrate an existing software company into the site.

    Skype?
    Meebo?

Any recommendations would be appreciated. I am a trader as well but never really do the online chat as many prefer it.

    Thanks

    Teamspeak

  4. I will most likely go with either of the two, they both seem good. On teamspeak do you have to keep an entire window open or can you have a small message box in the bottom corner to chat?

Ventrillo is pretty good but i do like teamspeak more. If you have alot of people on a trading floor and need to setup a server then everyone connects to it. They both would work well.
