Bear Market is Over! GO long S&P 500!

  2. Looks like the small specs have been right at the beginning of a couple important trends. Maybe this is another that the little guy gets right. It also looks like the large specs have been long, and wrong, since right after the October meltdown. I wonder how that's working out for them.

  5. Actually, Small Specs are net long 10 b; while Commercials are net short about -20 b.

  6. Here's something I don't understand.

    The "Commercials" are dominated by the trading desks of the large banks, right? These are the banks which have received hundreds of $billions from the taxpayers.

    And the Commercials are heavy net short on the market. So these banks are using the people's money (government loans) to drive the market down, destroying the people's savings (401Ks, IRAs, etc.) in the process?

    What's wrong with this picture?

  7. Nothing, you're forgetting that they hedge the cash index with the futures and visa versa.

  9. Volume is very low today, barely 50% of the avg.
    I want to se DOW tank 800 points with double or tripple avg. volume.
