Democrats fighting over how ugly and destructive one of their previous social experiments- busing- turned out to be. Meanwhile they have the great Open Borders social experiment going which will not end well either, mostly because it will end in the total destruction of the country. Poor little Kamala and her immigrant family. Both parents were phd's with high level jobs.
We dared to ask the left just how stupid they can get with their ideology. Now it's a contest and they are up to the challenge.
I watched about thirty seconds of last night's debate, but it happened to be the moment when one of the mod's asked for a show of hands on giving free health care to illegals. All raised their hands immediately. I think that could be a signal moment for normal Americans. Anyone who has been to an ER recently knows the anger of having to wait for hours while a parade of illegal immigrants gets free health care for everything from sore throats to gun shot wounds. Then you, Mr. or Mrs. Taxpayer, get a bill for $10,000 to treat a sprained ankle and they will send debt collectors after you to pay it. Dem's plan in a nutshell: All of Latin America, Africa and the middle east can come here and will get free health care, drivers' licenses, be able to vote, get the full panoply of affirmative action, their kids will get preferential college admission and free tuition. If people are willing to vote for that, they deserve the consequences. Unfortunately, the rest of us don't but will be stuck with it.
The question is a shitty set up because the asker knows full well not one candidate has the balls to NOT raise their hand and be given a chance to explain why. the question is basically saying, if an undocumented person walked into the ER with a grave injury, should the ER turn them away and tell them to go die in the waiting room. No one in the medical field would answer that yes. So it was a softball to give a handjob to the base. I believe one of them who was on the news the next morning tried to explain the policy that if someone comes into an ER with a medical condition we cannot just turn them away. The issue is not them getting health care, it is reducing the amount of undocumenteds so that the burden on health care is reduced as well.
That was not the way the question was phrased nor how the candidates or viewers heard it. They were clearly indicating their view on whether some form of socialized medicine they all support would cover illegals. If they thought there was any ambiguity, they could have said so. It has nothing to do with ER's which are now required by federal law to provide such services. California just made news by adopting exactly that as their policy. As if they haven't done enough to wreck their middle class.
I know that was not how the question was asked but the way it was asked it was the same thing, no Dem candidate would have been able to keep their hand down and not suffer a diving dump in the polls no matter how well they explained it. It was a debate soundbite. The problem is the question jumps over the issue of huge numbers of undocumenteds entering the country and jumps right to a humanitarian backed into a corner issue. I would have preferred a journalist with BALLS/Stronger Vag asked the candidates: "Given the high numbers of undocumented people entering the country on a monthly basis and the resulting pressue it puts on our border patrols, detention centers, health care, security and education systems, what would be your proposal to address the issue and bring both parties together to solve it rather than play the blame game" Then you would have had a debate where candidates give real and different answers from each other and then we see detailed differences. This softball lefty shit was a useless question. How many of you would support funding to cure cancer.. How many of you would want quality education for all... Softball bullshit that does not require a candidate to actually propose something.
