Asian equivalent to ES emini

Hi there,

I am moving to Asia for a few years and because of time zones I am looking to follow
an Asian Index that is similar in profile to ES emini.

can anyone offer suggestions please

Korean index Kospi 200 futures

 

HSI for Hong Kong index

 

Mini Hang Seng Index futs (MHI) or Mini H-Shares (MCH.HK) , the former if you want something with ES characteristics, the latter if you seek more volatility. Tick size for both is ~ US$1.30.

I would also agree that the N225M futures are most similar to ES. IMO HSI and HHI are not like ES. K200, haven't figured out what that thing is like yet.

 

The KOSPI 200 (and its mini) is the most similar to US stock index futures, along with the Nikkei 225 (and its mini). The Nikkei 225 Mini contract is the most liquid Asian futures market, and the KOSPI 200 Mini is also gaining popularity quickly, if you look at the historical day-to-day volume increase. The KOSPI 200 options are the most liquid market in the entire world, by far.
