Anyone out there think 5% realtor fee is way too high?

Not a REALTOR, but use one more often than not;
have sold my property myself also.

You forget $4.00 per gallon gas, and ads,;
and ever shown a house of your own to multitudes of lookers?? Not the kind that steal your stuff, the honest ''lookers''

And ulness its non MLS;
that MLS, 5-7%/+, gets split 2 or 4 ways...............................

 

All they do is sell. Every time I go into my insurance agent's office there is some new pitch. Last year around the middle of Sept my agent called up and tried to get me to buy some stock mutual funds for _only_ a 5% front end fee! I almost laughed out loud. Wow, what a deal... i passed. The last time was a cashback credit card...

So do that then - there are ins companies w/o the middle men involved.
