Is there any way to trade IB without that TWS java program running in the background?

 

Yeah, use the FIX interface.

 

You can use WebTrader.

 

whats problem with java?

 

I run TWS as a windows service, however you need to know java to figure out how to do this. But this only hides the gui, its still running in the background.
