If you don't have 5 or 10 Grand of your own dough to trade why would a firm let you trade their capital?

By definition a real prop firm doesn't require you to put up any money, plenty of such successful firms, nothing wrong with that

Agree; but they do require trading experience. We certainly do, with the rare exception of some systematic traders.
