  1. Secret recording reveals Australian billionaire pal was trashing Trump behind his back

New court documents reviewed by the New York Times reveal Donald Trump's Australian pal, Anthony Pratt, told a lot of people about life at Mar-a-Lago post-presidency. Among the things he said, involved trashing Trump behind his back.

Pratt, the Australian billionaire that Trump revealed classified information to, told around 45 people about the classified info as well as a number of things about his presidential pal.

Not only did Trump tell his wife, Melania, to strut around the property in a bikini, but Pratt paid Trump tens of thousands of overages for ticket prices for events at the country club.

"Another witness told prosecutors about hearing uncorroborated reports that Mr. Pratt spent $1 million for tickets to a Mar-a-Lago New Year’s Eve gala — voluntarily paying the club a huge markup for tickets that actually cost $50,000 or less, according to two people with knowledge of the previously unreported testimony," said the report.

Unlike "most" who were paying for influence at Mar-a-Lago, Pratt "played the game better," said the report. "Mr. Pratt used his money and flattery to get on Mr. Trump’s radar: He lavished praise on him in public appearances, bought newspaper ads that hyped Mr. Trump as a job creator and became a member of Mar-a-Lago."

Behind Trump's back, he was trashing the president. "60 Minutes Australia" obtained a "covert recording" that revealed Pratt claiming Trump running his businesses "like the mafia."

Former President Donald Trump pushed back against reports of him sharing sensitive information with Mar-a-Lago member and Australian billionaire Anthony Pratt, after Australian media outlets released secret recordings of Pratt describing his close access to Trump.

    Key Facts
Secret recordings of Pratt, who has been listed as a potential witness in the Trump classified documents trial, where he describes the former president’s business practices of being “like the mafia,” were aired on Sunday by Australia’s 60 Minutes news program.

The recordings, also accessed by the New York Times and the Sydney Morning Herald, include Pratt’s accounts of how Trump told him about the phone calls he had with the leaders of Iraq and Ukraine in 2019.

Trump responded to the report on his Truth Social platform by attacking the Times, calling the story “fake news” and suggesting the story had been leaked by the DOJ.

Calling Pratt a “red haired weirdo from Australia,” Trump wrote he “never spoke to him about Submarines,” referencing earlier reports of his interactions with the Australian billionaire.

  4. Donald Trump Says He'll Expose The 'Riggers' But We Know The Word He Really Wants To Say

    https://news.yahoo.com/donald-trump-says-hell-expose-155200575.html

Former President speaks after returning from a break during his civil fraud trial at New York State Supreme Court on October 18, 2023 in New York City.

On Truth Social, Donald Trump insisted that he will present irrefutable evidence in court that the 2020 presidential election was stolen and he was the true winner.

The former president has been promising this for three years, which is admirable since most people would find it difficult to lie for that long. “Massive information and 100% evidence will be made available during the Corrupt Trials started by our Political Opponent,” he wrote .

Replace the ‘R’ with a different letter and there’s the slur Trump is dying to say.

This isn’t the first time Trump has used the word. After Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis—who is a Black woman—announced the racketeering indictment which charged Trump and 18 allies in a conspiracy to alter Georgia’s 2020 election results, he immediately took to Truth Social to be racist.

“They never went after those that Rigged the Election. They only went after those that fought to find the RIGGERS!” he stated.

Trump has bolstered white supremacy, dined with white supremacists and called white supremacists “very fine people.” His latest outburst isn’t shocking but still repulsive.

It also says a lot that he remains the presidential frontrunner for the Republican party come 2024.

'Mr. Trump May Lie, But Numbers Don't Lie' — Attorney General Says Trump Can Rant And Rave All He Wants, But It Doesn't Change That His Entire Empire Was Built On A Lie

New York Attorney General Letitia James is spearheading a $250 million lawsuit against former President Donald Trump. The outcome of the trial could have a substantial impact on both Trump's wealth and the future of his real estate holdings.

Trump, his sons Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. and other executives from The Trump Organization are accused of engaging in a decade-long scheme involving "numerous acts of fraud and misrepresentation" to inflate the former president's net worth for more favorable loan terms. Trump denied the allegations, and his lawyers contend that any inflated valuations are a result of his business skill.

David McArdle, a real estate executive from Cushman & Wakefield, testified about his professional interactions with Eric Trump. Hired to appraise the value of 71 undeveloped residential units at the Trump National Golf Club in Westchester County, New York, McArdle conducted multiple appraisals for conservation easements at the property in 2014 and 2015. His appraisals valued the units between $43 million and $45.2 million. Despite these appraisals, Trump's financial statements from the same years valued the land at $101 million. The New York attorney general stated in her complaint that "based on the supporting data, the only source for the increase in the number of units and profit per unit were telephone conversations with Eric Trump."

James had strong words regarding the former president's actions, stating that while Trump could "rant and rave" all he wanted, it would not change the fact that he "built his empire on lies." She went on to say, "Mr. Trump may lie, but numbers don't lie. Mr. Trump's entire empire is built on nothing but lies. Sinking sand."

In court, McArdle contradicted Eric Trump's claim that he didn't recall working on the appraisals. When state attorney Sherief Gaber asked, "Do you believe that Eric Trump was not involved in the appraisals you worked on?" McArdle responded, "No."

Judge Arthur Engoron decided in a pretrial hearing that there was "conclusive evidence" that Trump overvalued his assets between $812 million and $2.2 billion. This led to the cancelation of The Trump Organization's business certificates in New York, which restricted Trump's ability to conduct business in the state.

Adding further complexity to the case, Ladder Capital executive Jack Weisselberg testified that he partially relied on Trump's financial statements while working on a $160 million loan for The Trump Organization. Weisselberg noted that Trump's net worth was "one of many statements we were looking at in the underwriting process."

As the trial continues, both parties await the court's decisions on potential penalties and other actions included in the attorney general's lawsuit. The findings could have broad implications for The Trump Organization and possibly affect the real estate industry's valuation processes.

While the lawsuit against the former president alleges that his empire was built on "numerous acts of fraud and misrepresentation," investing in startups or other legitimate ventures offers an alternative path to building wealth that is rooted in innovation, ethical business practices and real value creation.

For example, venture capital and angel investing focus on identifying early-stage companies with high growth potential. The objective is to provide the capital these companies need to scale their operations in return for equity. Unlike the complex valuations and alleged misrepresentations in the current lawsuit, startups typically go through rigorous due diligence processes that scrutinize every aspect of their business — from financials and technology to team competence and market potential. Transparency, accuracy and due diligence are paramount in these transactions.

Jenna Ellis becomes latest Trump attorney to plead guilty

Jenna Ellis has reached a plea agreement with prosecutors in the conspiracy to overturn Donald Trump's election loss in Georgia.

The former Trump campaign lawyer intends to plead guilty Tuesday to one count of aiding and abetting false statements, according to court documents obtained by WSB-TV.

Ellis will become the third attorney associated with the former president to plead guilty in the sprawling racketeering case in Fulton County, where Trump and 18 others were indicted for their roles in attempting to invalidate the state's 2020 election results.
