Andrew Jackson, my favorite president, abolishes the Central Bank of the US

  1. Jackson declined to renew the charter of what was effectively the "US Central Bank" of its time, thus "abolishing the Fed". That's not the only reason he's my fav... he was also a man of principle and class.

Woodrow Wilson re-established the Fed (Central Bank) in a "seamy, late night, backroom deal"... for which upon his deathbed....apologized to the citizenry of the US for the pox he'd inflicted upon us.

Plenty of details available via search. Look it up if interested.
