Hello everyone, I was just looking at a heatmap and saw a lot of the outlying issues (in %gain/loss) all had analyst upgrades/downgrades today. Is there a set schedule for analysts evaluating sets of issues? I would like to know what the industry practice is, thanks.

that is insightful! although biased toward buy signals only my question is how did you know to look at analyst actions on 1-8-2011 instead of say... 1-10-2011?
The date is when I started the study. There are both buy and sell signals. The second compilation of the row are sell signals.
