Hello, The goal of this journal is to track my options trading progress throughout 2015. Feel free to subscribe, and add any comments pertaining to options trading. About Me: I am a 22 year old who has severed in the US military for almost 4 years now. I have focused on learning as much as possible about option trading and even traded small positions over the past 7 months. My goal for this year is to grow my account via hedging, since I don't yet have the experience or equity for debit and credit spreads. Within the next 2-3 year my goal is to make a comfortable living off of trading options. First trade of 2015: Looking at the QQQ 1/1/2015 I noticed a bearish signal on the 4hr chart. The other indicators that i used also confimed this so 1/2/2015 I legged into the following position. Bought:1/2/2015 (4) Jan 15 $103 Put $1.57x4=$628 (2) Jan 15 $105 Call $.42x2 =$84 Sold:1/6/2015 (4) Jan 15 $103 Put $2.64x4=$1056 (2) Jan 15 $105 Call $.10x2 =$20 $1056-$628= +$428 $84-$20 = -$64 P/L: +$364
