Bummer. Farming is hard work... and to do it for minimum wage would be a drag. Americans have it so much better. 50% of us make much more than minimum wage.. DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AT ALL... except remembering to vote for Democrats.
Many farmers make less than minimum wage. Some even lose money if they have a failed harvest. The small farmer in india with 5 acres of land can expect to make on average about $1,200 per year after all expenses.

The biggest problem in India is Bollywood or Indian movies. Bollywood destroys massive amounts of Indian money which can be used for the development and better life of Indian Farmers. Indians think bollywood is the richest and most high profile industry so indians are the biggest idiots in the world. A person in India who does not watch bollywood or other movies is considered as backward person or 2nd class citizen. A country where movies industry is the most important industry, this country will never be able to compete and grow internationally. If India wants to survive than India should shut down bollywood immediately and start thinking for Indian farmers.
