My wife knows most everything I do on a daily basis. She can tell by my mood if I had a good/bad day. I get very excited when the market does something interesting and start blabbering all about it to her during lunch. Hell, I'm pretty isolated during the day, I have to talk trading to someone...
She's been very supportive from start, saying "don't worry, you'll make it back" type stuff to me when I took a good hit. I honestly couldn't ask for a better partner.
Mike
P.S. It helps that we don't have to worry about income (trading isn't my only source of income, so I am able to enjoy it rather than worry about making enough to pay bills). I do think if we had a monetary strain our relationship would be stressed though.

I think you are a lucky man. One of the reasons my last two relationships ended were the women putting great pressure on me to reduce the amount of time I spend researching the market/trading so I could spend more time with them. Also, they wanted me to do something more stable. It must be great to find that rare woman that supports your trading, including when it is not going well. Cheers. London.

My chrystal ball is just fine, I never trade on big event days, do you? ( what a schmuck if you do)The reversal call was made with the dow up 110 points, and it closed up 138. Not much of a miss considering the trip q's I trade are lower now than they were Friday when I said go short, the reversal will turn out to be a top, how's that, jackball.
