Apple iPad itself does not support Flash and Wmv but most of the live webinars support the iPad.
AvPlayer will play Flash and Wmv if you have it as a downloaded file. I capture them on my PC using WmRecorder and then transfer them to the iPad.
WebEx supports the iPad for live webinars but not recorded ones.
For webinars specifically, most compatible out of the box will be the coming Microsoft Tablet (Intel version), then Android and iPad.
BUT iPad is still a good choice because of number of apps etc.
