It's been well documented* that blacks and to a lesser extent hispanics lag behind whites, Asians and Jews on standardized tests , which we call IQ tests.
(*it's not as well documented but evidence also points to this phenomena not being limited to the US)
The differences vary according to the studies but in general , average distributions appear to be separated by a significant gap between black and white. Conservatively this gap for blacks is apx .8 to 1 standard deviations BELOW the norm for whites.
For Jews their scores appear up to 1 standard deviation above whites.
There is really very little dispute about the findings however inconvenient that they may be.
The reasons/ (excuses) vary widely and ARE the subject of VOCIFEROUS debate.
The sociological consequences (at least the correlation) of having low IQ are far reaching especially in the information age of the global economy.
One should expect to find those with significantly lower IQ to have problems along virtually all measures of sociological study (that involve cognitive tasks or ability ).
The implications for National Govt policy are huge.
(What social problem is the US govt not trying to cure?)
Plus this concept is anathema to liberal doctrine of "everybody being equal ".
The more liberals try to ignore this reality the more mysterious their failures inevitably will become to them.
Their perfect scapegoat is "the boogeyman"
Being equal and being treated equal by the law is 2 different things.
