I was just wondering. I know that when looking at the futures ES, they say that it is more difficult to trade in the afternoon and very hard after hours. I guess tougher professionals after hours. I'm not sure why. I just wondered it the same went for forex?

You have to use different strategies in different sessions.

The market behavior in FX changes at 19:00 when NZ/AUS activity starts. Real easy session. Big moves begin around 3:00 EST when EU session opens, and more big moves happen around 9:30EST when US session opens.

Trend changes and bottoms/tops are generally put in around 3AM and 9:30AM.
