you have to be nuts to run 1024/768 total waste of real estate

all you have to do is set the font size higher

Just maxed resolution out and maxed text size out and still too damn small. Perfect recipe for eye trouble

I already run extra large font on 1024 setting

Maybe just a 42 inch screen so I can run 1920 with extra large fonts

Then you must be in bad shape. With reading glasses I can read 3/16" high text with ease from 18 " away. Actually, I can read a lot smaller that that , but if you can't read 3/16" text then.....
