Companies that have resumed recruiting say they tend to focus on the most recent crop of graduates, rather than go through résumés from a few years back. Recruiters assume a recent graduate has fresher skills—such as experience with a computer program's latest version—than someone who graduated three years ago and hasn't taken refresher courses.

You pay a lot of money but not only that you have to get the timing just right or your OTM on your college degree and out lots of cash.

Just like going long an OTM call option hoping it crosses the strike price before the time value is gone.
