Just searching for CPA's near/in Chicago that is familiar with filling form 6781 for the 60/40 tax treatment..

Any recommendations? Thanks in Advance!

If you clear a Chicago-based FCM, ask them who they use / recommend.

BTW, you are very wise to not solicit tax advice here. And you are correct in soliciting a specialist with a proven body of work with the futures tax treatment.

I agree, we have worked with this firm for years... we have only had 2 major CPA firms since our first memberships with the CBOE and CME.

Thank you for the information ..

I'm trying to avoid paying $1500.00 to file my futures trading and my w2..

Although a lot of cpa's in Chicago require a minimum of $700, but I think they deal with much bigger clients
