Why not just do as Pekelo had suggested previously: time the duration of your VHS video and then compare it with that of the downloaded version. Assuming, of course, that you really want to know. My best guess is that the downloaded version's length is 55:30, including closing credits.

I don't download pirated material off of the internet.
It's a good way to infest your computer with viruses.
In addition, what would the same lengths indicate? Critical information could be removed and replaced with filler of the same length.
A campaign of disinformation, so to speak.
