Maybe but I would think that they will not risk putting out so many contracts just in case. Also, I am not 100% sure about this but the exchange forbids them putting 'fake' quotes out there.

It's not "fake" it's just analyzing and changing its mind second by second. It would be interesting to talk to a GS trader or someone that does trade size.
