I just caught the end too, but i thought she was grilling him along the lines of why not such a tax when main street is suffering and wall street is paying out record bonuses?

I caught the tail end it sounded like she said it was innappropriate but I could be wrong I need to see it again, she might have said appropriate. But either way Geitner said specfically the administration was against it and it was not appropriate for our country

He said it was not appropriate for the country- the transaction tax and the do not support it, when he was talking about something he hasnt seen that makes sense or acceptable, like he did a few weeks ago at the g20 we was talking about indeed other versions like a fee on banks assets or something of that matter, not transactions.

And its dam good he is making this feeling of the administration not supporting the tax while he is on capitol hill! Not that the g20 meeting last week wasnt good but even better domestically where it counts
