Concentrating on the " I " is all very well but unless you are a hermit one has to consider the " THEY ". That is the people around you, family, neighbours, work colleagues and of course strangers.
In civilized countries the State takes care of the violent " They ". They are locked up. And should really only be released when they are " cured " of their criminal activities.
For the majority to live in peace the violent " THEY " have to be stopped.
