[jjw] I am not aware of any other VPS offerings. Some FCMs and brokers offer the use of dedicated servers but I am not aware of their specs. Our research showed that others' dedicated server offerings tended to run about $2,000 per month.

[jjw] Reduced latency yes, but more specifically, reduced latency at greatly reduced prices and no commitment compared to doing it yourself.
Also, if not trading DMA i.e. trading through say TT or T4's API, which means your trades go to the CTS/T4 or TT server first before going to the CME's matching engine, is co-locating at the CME really of any benefit?
[jjw] If the system to which your front end connects is also located in the Aurora data center, then there is reduced latency communicating with such systems.
