Ted Hearne is a trader and writer with 30 years experience in the financial markets. He holds degrees from the University of Chicago and the College of Wooster; he has lived and worked in China, the Middle East, Europe and the United States. He is currently based in Michigan, where he is an active trader, teaches advanced techniques to market professionals, and conducts a nightly market forecast service using Drummond Geometry trading techniques.
Ted came to the markets from his study of health behaviors and social marketing, which led to the investigations into mass movements and the psychology social change, and from there into the financial markets, which has been an enduring interest. Hearne has written on Drummond Geometry and Market Profile, and has co-developed the Drummond Geometry software and a major course on that methodology. He is a contributor to the Bloomfield Press Book "Breakthroughs in Technical Analysis: New Thinking from the World's Best Minds."
