Optionstar's website had a trojan Trojan.JS.Injector.E on it (according to my AV sware) so perhaps thats why you couldn't open it. I did inform them but not heard back.

Not particularly impressed with the front end of their product.

I should have made it clear in my post that I haven't used optionstar, just suggested OP to have a look. I had a closer look (hopefully I didn't catch a nasty virus) and it seems that its scanning application is very limited.

I was looking for a scanner that can use the IB datafeed and scan live the whole market i.e. something like the IB optionscanner but with more advanced search criteria e.g. what the OP has mentioned or soemthing like OTM-ATM spreads etc

buddy if you find something that granular.. let me know.. otherwise.. you need to learn how to query (question) the data with your own sql instead of some form generating it....... would be pretty freaking cool to build a web interface that acesses options data real time like that with the degree of flexibility in parameters like we are talking..
check this unaffordable solution out.

this is a search..... thats stat arb work... if your looking for stuff like that... start picking up a book on vba and start digging into excel.. losing the ability to define parameters in searches is the problem with any search.. and or in any modeling not having the ability to variate all assumptions in every leg across the calender is also very limiting..... if not.. make a explicit scope of work and hire a developer... you can feed live data right into your worksheets.. insert them into any number of databases.. you have to ask yourself.. what is knowing the reality of a particular trade and all its assumptions worth to you..

How can I feed live data into excel? Where is the source of live data?

Well let's say I am not that good with programming and I don't want to spend 250/mo unless I have a good reason

Another one worth checking out is the RT scanner from ivolatility.com
This is $60 a month but they offer 2 weeks for free. However it is on 20 mins delayed data feed

Expenses have a way of adding up, so unless you are trading a large account, I agree it makes sense to keep a rein on things.
