Yes but what he doesn't understand is the independents want a "real" choice between the candidates. There is the false idea that just because someone is an independent that means they want a moderate. Nothing could be further from the truth. Independents want and need a clear choice more so then the extreme right and left. The hard followers will support their party no matter what. The people in the middle want to make a choice. Romney was and is too much like Obama. In that case, they will usually part with the incumbent. Ryan actually gives them a crystal clear choice. There won't be any mistaking these two tickets. Now they get to choose.

Yes, they do, and I doubt Independents are going to go Randian in the aggregate. This one's gonna leave a mark.
