The new era in fundamental comes I believe from all the quant wonks who think they have everything figured out. How are you different than a computer what do you bring to the table.
Investing of any kind is a method or what I like to call a blend. I use many styles and angles.
I use my 25 plus years experience buying and selling what some would say are somewhat risky stocks to narrow a buy list down. Then I apply TA. Then I look for other possible catalysts-- for example the move into ACHN was a combo of chart read and knowledge of an impending analyst day... looked like some good news might come, which it did. Now I was already in on the good news because I have some recent upgrade activity and high price targets-- put it all together and you have a good whatever you want to all it. and you're welcome.
