I understand IB has abandoned TwsDdeBeginners.xls and pronounced it outdated, but I like the Example 2 module for auto trading based on a Top Implied Volatility Gainer Market Scan. I don't see this ability in the newer TwsDde.xls worksheet unless I'm missing something.

if I'm going to write VBA 6 code either way, isn't it easier to update the old TwsDdeBeginners instead of adding an Object Auto Trader to the new TwdDde worksheet?
