Associated Press

NEW YORK—All nine bystanders caught in the crossfire of a shooting outside the Empire State Building were wounded by two police officers who had never fired their weapons on duty, authorities confirmed Saturday...

So, yeah, sure, more guns in the hands of ordinary citizens, with even LESS training, will make everyone safer.

Have you ever been to NYC?

There's a Star Bucks every half block. Those cops were probably od-ing on coffee and couldn't keep a steady aim. Add in some galzed donuts and its a wonder half the city wasn't shot up!

Yet another example of "better trained" police, shooting the wrong guy.

Reynaldo Cuevas, 20, was fatally wounded early Friday when he crashed into a New York police officer while fleeing three armed robbers and the officer's gun went off.

Here a lowly less "trained" private gun owner kills a guy, beating up a cop.

Regular Guy with a Regular Gun Saves Cop’s Life.

Sad story. There is no way to fix this one.
