from my really old Seagate 5.6 firewall Security Log:
'Somebody is scanning your computer.
Your computer's TCP ports:
73, 3128, 8008, and 7212 have been scanned from 125.45.109.166..'
via: http://www.robtex.com/
"Sorry, we are currently missing dns information for 125.45.109.166
It is blacklisted in nine lists.
CNET 125.45.109
125.40.0.0/13 CNC Group CHINA169 Henan Province Network AS4837
China 125.40.0.0/13 CNC Group CHINA169 Henan Province Network AS4837
China-Network-Communications-Group China Network Communications (CNC Group)"
should I be flattered ? China is interested in Me ?
or should I learn to code and - internet wise, nuke the m-fs

forget about last line. couple of my friends are working in top IT firms. in networking specifically. their recommendation-never ever try to fight back. because when you do that-the real person, not some dummy bot, is going to sit down on other side and will literally destroy you.
if you read my posts few years back-i always recommend you to cascade few routers and have few separate networks. one for trading, one for browsing, one for wireless. it's a bit complicated, but imo-well worth it

actually the Chinese are like an invasion of bugs, surprising that no one has
attacked already given how invasive they've been; called spying isn't it ?
what's the CIA and Homeland Defence doing about it ?

Try this test guys:
https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2
Use the following to scan higher ports:
https://www.grc.com/PortDataHelp.htm
Scanning a port does not mean the attacker gets control of the computer. The port must be open for that to happen.
