Building Up My Small Trading Account

Hello, I trade the forex market like all other small accounts. I opened a journal thread over at 2+2 as well, but it seems like its not generating enough interest. I live in NYC and would like to join a hedge fund/bank or prop firm in the future.

I deposited $700 back in May and made some good trades, but then I loss a couple of big trades as well. I went back to the drawing board about 7 to 8 more times after this and I feel I am able to open a journal now. I trade at Oanda, but once I get to $2500, I'll switch over to currency futures. I trade the 5 min chart and only trade EUR/USD, GBP/USD, AUD/USD, and USD/CAD. I also only trade from 7am to 12pm.

My starting account balance is $471.49.

I made 2 trades today on the USD/CAD.

So starting balance: $471.49
Ending balance: $479.05

I'll be glad to answer questions as long as I find them appropriate. I won't go into great details on how I trade, but will be glad to answer general questions.
