Motivational Speaker Tony Robbins Warns Economic Collapse Is Coming

Sounds like he's a student of Kondratieff Wave Theory.....

Even Tony Robbins Is Warning That An Economic Collapse Is Coming

It seems like almost everyone is warning of a coming economic collapse these days. Do you remember Tony Robbins? He is probably the world's best known "motivational speaker" and his infomercials dominated late night television during the 80s and 90s. He was always urging all of us to "unleash the power within" and to take charge of our lives. Well guess what? Now Tony Robbins is warning that an economic collapse is coming. In fact, he has issued a special video warning about what he believes is about to happen. Considering the incredible connections that he has at the highest levels of the financial world, it makes a lot of sense to consider what he is trying to warn us about. Robbins says that a "major retracement" is coming to financial markets and that the coming collapse is going to be a "painful process" as we go through it. Those familiar with Tony Robbins know that he always goes out of his way to stress the positive, so if even he is openly warning the public about a coming economic nightmare than you know that things are starting to get really, really bad out there.

The video that Tony Robbins published where he gives his economic warning is posted in two parts below. This is unlike any Tony Robbins video that you have ever seen before and it is absolutely jaw dropping....

Two part video....

My oh my! Bullshit means BUY! Despite his height for all his career he has been a midget standing on the shoulders of giants. Google Bandler and Grinder. And shame on you for fear mongering. You are a fear mongrel!

With such an OBVIOUS hand picked minion "fall guy" like obama in office, and with such OBVIOUS economically destructive legislation in place now is this such a surprise?

I mean most all economic and government financial conditions data looks atrocious, both here and in many other western countries around the world.

....and if the china bubble bursts soon........LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

About 80% of those I personally know with over a million liquid are all taking very proactive moves to protect their wealth......the "feeling" of something about to take place soon is definitely in the air.

Economy is so bad I recently got a 2 for 1 offer for his unleash the power within seminar. Tickets are usually about $1k each...now you get 2 tickets for $1k. Guess times are tough for Tony too.

I was thinking the same thing but PTJ did not lose money several years in a row after 1987. Robbins says his client lost money for several years after 1987.

Also I have a hard time believing that a genius like PTJ (or any super trader) would have the patience for the aimless ramblings of Robbins.

Thanks for posting.

I have his tapes somewhere from long ago and its been a while since I've thought of him.

At any rate, he's a good reminder to be prepared.

ps. now that I'm thinking about it. I got those tapes as present and never concerned myself with them till I got interested in the market. Then I listened to all of them.

Crazy Nitro..you know that that 2point move up in futures could disapear at any moment.

33 billion in equity removed form the Stock Market and rolled into bonds. Hummm.....I wonder why that is. Of course, bonds are not much of a flight to safty or quality at this rate.

China and south east Asia are growing, parts of latin america, Brazil in general in South America...all gaining momentum.

So the "World" is larger than the US.

Tony may or may not be correct. Unemployment numbers do not lie, however the gov.s accounting and tracking these numbers are so out dated...that the % is far higher.

The writting is on the wall. There will be no surprise collapse. It's a decade of unwinding of Leverage. Period. Those who carry debt that they can't manage will feel the pain. Innocent people will get caught in final URSA, or last move in the bear market which could last late into this decade.

But there will be plenty of ways to make money in the proper industries.

Maybe those pesky Mayans knew what they were talking about when they ended their calendar cycle in 2012.

On the other hand, usually when everyone expects the end of the world it's time to buy!

Actually just watched it a second time to really hear what he is saying, his message is very smart. Anticipate, don't react. That is how I work in my world, that is how all my mentors have worked. Doesn't matter if you own your business or trade for a living.

Second. He left out a lot of technical points....add those to his 7 and the odds are in favor of a major selloff.

He is not a fear bater, he is not saying go short. Crash doesn't mean a one day 10,000 point drop. We have already CRASHED...14500 to 6500 or there about? Now only at 10100 or there about? Oil from 140 to 35 and now around 74.

It isn't unreal and in fantasy land to say the INDU could touch and break the 6500 level. Lets see...10100, to 6500 in say about two months or even 6 months is still a crash persa.

He sounds far more intellgent than CNBC, FOX, BLOOMBERG, etc and 99% of those on this site.

Time will tell....but nobody I know thinks the worst has come...they are anticipating it.

Posted by nitro on 08-23-10 02:40 AM:

Yeah Eric, but the point is anyone at any time can say anything about anything. I don't have a problem with people making claims, but at least make claims that can be falsified within some reasonable amount of time, and then own up to the outcome.

I do understand where all the negativism comes from, believe me. But don't you ever get sick of all these prognosticators making calls? How many deep out of the money puts do you think the guy owns? No one can tell what is going to happen even a month into the future, let alone over the time scales these prognosticators tend to operate on.

FWIW, people on this site and in markets in general have this very poor opinion of crowds. There is a huge amount of wisdom in crowds, especially modern ones because they are so well informed. Further, this particular debacle has touched so many lives, that it is not just exposing financial cracks in America, but the very foundations of that make up this country. There is a crisis in just about every foundation that makes a society whole in this country.

Consumerism has to be nipped at every conceivable bud. The problem is, I have no idea what else can sustain this country. Worse, the rest of the world is just now being lured into the same trap by Capitalists that see opportunity to exploit people that don't have the economic maturity to deal with the onslaught of marketers. Turn off the TV, India, China, Brazil, Russia, lest your kids mind be polluted!

History is everyones least favorite subject in school, it seems...so the world goes round and round making the same mistakes, over and over again If I wrote a history book, I would write one that included the current crisis, and made it must reading for every nation that these corporations are now trying to exploit.

I've recently been keeping an eye on the Royal Bank of Scotland global forecasts for indications of economic disaster.

In June of 2008 the RBS said a global credit and stock market crash was going to happen within 3 months.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/...rash-alert.html

Their recent reports only reflect a sluggish economy for 2011 and trend growth to resume in 2012.

Tony "the cunt" Robbins is all that is wrong with America.
Listen to him if you can't think for yourself.
Maybe he is the number one snake oil seller in the US at the moment. He sure has got rich duping stupid fucking Americans.
Let me do you a favor and save you some money.
Instead of buying the robins tapes try this instead:
Think long and hard and then write your will.
Then find a bridge to jump off.
Make sure it's high enough, we don't want anyone to think this was a cry for help.

Tony fucking Robins....Next to him the cretins on cnbc seem sane and credible.
I wouldn't shit on him if he was on fire.

I keep reminding myself that this might be as good as it gets.

Odd thing that is happening. As I pay down debt, my income is falling through no fault of my own. Basically as a sub contractor I'm getting paid to do the same work for less pay, while expenses are rising. I should be expecting to have more money as I pay off whatever, its like I'm climbing down the ladder.

Interesting - when a crash is very widely advertised and discussed, is the most likely outcome a steady decline, such as 2000-2002?
