I agree with the previous comments. Trading with this platform is really embarassing. It looks like they are not able to solve this issue...hhmmmm |

Horrible infrastructure They want to use speed data with an old software. The result is that the DOM has micro freeze every few seconds. You can't be on top without investing money. Simply you can't trade with this poor software if you are a scalper. Get a life! |

08/04/07 - "The software is great. The data feed needs improvement. Data and fills are slow and sporadic when compared to J-Trader and X-Trader. I've used several execution platforms over several years. The data feed used with this product is slower than most others I have used. Although, I do love the platform and it's features, due to slow fills, I've found I cannot use this platform when trading my main account. I use this with my backup account only. Hopefully, the data feed will improve."
08/08/07 - "As an update, after sending an e-mail to TransAct, explaining my disappointment with the data feed and order execution, I received a call from their network support this morning. The technician, who was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, performed some tests and discovered a potential problem when running a Trace Route. It seems there were a couple of sections in the route, mid stream, that could be acting as bottlenecks to free data flow. Since the problem is not associated with, or directly connected to their end or mine, the technician will converse with his cohorts and consultants to see what, if anything, can be done to alleviate the problem. Hopefully they will find a resolution. I like the platform very much. Further updates pending. I'd like to be fair."
08/15/07 - While working with support, bottlenecks were found mid stream during the Trace Route. Support has worked quickly to correct the bottleneck problems, making the data feed, order execution and support among the best I've used. The AT platform is very robust, feature rich and easy to use. I would highly recommend trying the AT platform through Infinity and TransAct. |
