This program is very, very archaic, it feels like a 1984 DOS program, not at all intuitive, very awkward, slow, crash prone. It took me hours to figure how to create the first chart. I still cant figure out how to change or add symbols and these should be the most easy, straight forward basic things. Endless long flat menus, nothing is obvious. It also hangs all the time when trade pace picks up such as news time. Look elsewhere. |

I think Investor R/T is a very good product with one very special tool....."VB" or Volume Breakdown volume study. Almost my entire trading operations are based off a methodology I have built from using this unique study of volume. I am almost glad that more traders do not properly understand how valuable this tool can be. The various pricing levels with Investor RT is no big deal for me....the studies I use are well worth what I have to pay. The one product improvement request I have, is for Inv RT to be usable with Zenfire or TT fix adapter feeds!!! |

They had some pretty cool studies they were working on such as Volume Breakdown, etc. After having these studies for a while, they split up the software package and started charging more for studies they had included in the past for no additional charge.
They simply started charging more just because more people were using the software. Pretty sh*tty thing to do. They in no way actually improved the Volume Breakdown studies, etc (aside from standard debugging etc) but started charging significantly more for the same package they were offering previously. Funny way to run a business. |

This program is absolutely fantastic for p&f charting. It is rock solid and they have committed to add more features for Pnf'ers. They just added a feature which places a small bar at the point of reversal which is a very nice feature for those using multiple box size charts and/or varying reversal points. |

I have programmed in Easy Language and RTL. Although Different, RTL is pretty darn Easy. (Of course I did program in BASIC when I was 11 years old. LOL)
The program just keeps getting better and better. I havnt tried auto-Trading yet, but when I do I'll place an Honest review.
I run on OSX. There are a couple of little niggles I'd like to see fixed/improved.
Like Alert SOunds and Better Multi-threading of the App.
No Database issues (I have been using it with over 800 symbols -FOREX-FUTURES-STOCKS)
Charts are very readable and extremely configurable. Creating your own indicators is not rocket science here.
I have toyed around with the windows version. It doesnt compare, UI wise, to the MAC version for certain. There is room for improvement in that area.
All in All a very useable, reliable App. Not sure of the Database Issues others have.
Again.. RTL is easy to learn and to program signals and indicators with. |
